We eventually got our ases underway around 11. Ate at a Sonic for the first time (Like A&W, ish, but not as good :p). Went to the NC Aquarium, which was awesome. I got many pictures of fish, sharks, an octopus, etc. Then we went to the Beeeeach @_@

I haven't been to a real saltwater beach in ages. the water was gorgeous, and the waves were fun, but vicious. The Ocean didn't want me today, but it did want me to know that I'm on its list. I got swamped by a waved, pulled under, scratched my ass all up on some shells, and then was picking said shells, plus sand, out of my ass until I got home to shower. My ass (side of the right cheek, if you must know ;) is all red and scratched to hell. After that I went and laid down until the burning in my sinuses ceased. Lovecraft makes for surreal beach reading. I went back in, and we stayed out until it started raining. We only came in because we didn't want our stuff to get wet. And when we got back here, we went swimming in the (deliciously warm) pool for another hour or so. Then I went with Matt to get food (small rotissery chicken, fried chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, coldstone ice creram cake....). Mind you we'd eaten around 12, and it was almost 10 by the time we got back with the food, let alone when were were able to eat it. (also there were four of us).

Anyway, then we watched Waiting and some Loony Tunes and everyone else is passed out asleep :p I was going to hop on IRC for a bit,. but I can't find my key chain and I don't see any easily accessible usb ports on this computer anyway. buty you'll survive without me somehow, I'm sure. Me and my shiny red ass are going to bed.

:D

I am sort of surprised that someone with your boat-related fixations has not been the beach in a long time! Also, his post appears to primarily be about your ass.

Not that I am complaining.

get used to Sonics... they're everywhere down here. There are more Sonics than McDonalds in my part of Dallas -- by a large margin. Might even be more Sonics than McDonalds in all of Dallas. We have, like, 3 A&W joints. I think Sonic food sucks but their beverages are the awesome.

How are you set for Wendy's down there, though? :D

Dallas has plenty! I can't vouch for College Station, but we have tons. There's one whenever you need one.

In College Station is a New York Subs sub sandwich shop -- make sure you stop in. And if you run into Austin, Andy Kaufmann says hi.
