It's a go! [elanya]

I am definitely going to Italy. I'm leaving around 4:00 this am. Before hand, I'm hoping to play in a friend of mine's 3rd ed D&D game. Sleep is for the bus ^-^. I'll need something to do for 36 hours ;D

We are having an 8 hour stop over somewhere in France, because the coach drivers are legally required to sleep for that long. I'm not sure where I'll be sleeping in Italy, but I don't need a tent.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you where in Italy I'm going. It's for a big medieval reinactment event thing... something about a siege, or something. I'll take lots of pictures. I hope. This time, I'll even make sure here is film in the camera ^-^

I got a mini lesson in Itlaian last night from

longpig who took courses this summer. Lets see how well I can mangle me some romance languages, wooh!

Anyway, I have lots of stuff to get done today, like finishing, printing and handing in an essay, hopefully collecting all the signatures I need for a log book... and, um, stuff. Getting Euros, buying food snacks. All that stuff. Arr.

I'll eba round later tonight.

Enjoy yourself and have a safe trip! Hopefully you'll get a nice view continental Europe during your trip. I wonder if you'll heading into the Switzerland way or into the Austrian way. Oh well, I'll bug you with queations later. :)

I just found out today that I'll be going to Milan on the 6th of September. It's only a three hour drive from here. Whee!

If you get the spare money or get really bored, you should come over and visit me here in Austria. I've got room for a few visitors and we can go to my local for a couple of shandies.

Heh, unfortunately, since I'm going with a big group, I'm not going to me able to make any detours. I'll find out where exactly it is that I'm going to be, though, and I'll post that, incase you feel like going to Italy to see a re-enactment of a siege somewhere :D
