Today, I took care of some business.
I wanted to really do more, but was foiled.
I e-mailed Dawn and asked to talk to her about my dissertation, and getting back essays.
I called the person who has been helping me with my fees stuff, but she was out of the office today, so I'll call tomorrow. I did check with one of the other [people who has been giving me a hand, and from what we can tell, the cheque the finance people were talking about was the *first* cheque that was sent (back in *April*), that got cancelled, when they sent the second one, which has been cashed. I still owe about 3000 pounds, though. *Sigh*.
Anyway, I'll call meredith tomorrow and really get that sorted out. So, mom, if you are reading this, can you call the NB people and ask where my Bursary is, please? Thanks.
The other things I did today were: took in pictures to get develloped, took big wad o cash to the bank (had about 700 pounds that I needed to deposit before I went away, and never got the chance), and bought a new purse. Yay!. My old one got left to fester in wetness for too long after it got soaked, and I couldn't get the smell out :/ Actually, I bought two purses. I bought a huge book one, with patchwork blue velvet. Loooks liek somethingb you'd buy at cultures, only without the goodness of free-trade, alas. And I bought a cheap one for when I don't want to lug something that size around (fits wallet and change purse, basically). And only 16 pounds for both :D I just won't think of what that measn in Canadian though. I really won't. :p
I also went to dance class, yay me :D
Toimorrow, I'm going to the library so I can find a good angle to write my 2-3000 word report on the dig, which is due Sept 2... And pick up photos :D
