Those actually sound pretty good. I've always been fond of the peanut butter cookies with chocolate (and they're really easy to make), but what did you do for these? Is it just basically chocolate cookies with peanut butter on top, or is there more to it?

No, my friend, it is *better* than that! It is *two* chocolate cookies, with peanut butter icing between them :D I used the cookie recipe from my hershey's cookbok for vanilla creme sandwich cookies, only I concocted some pb icing instead. And one peanut pressed into the top of each sandwich :)

Bake cookies first, then assemble. My other option was to find a realy good crispy chocolate cookie recipe (maybe a good chocolate shortbread?), and make some sort of pb filling, and make filled sandwich cookies that are baked together. You know the ones where the top cookie has a cut out and the centre is filled with Jam? (Jammy Dodgers as they are called in their British appelation ;). I couldn't find a cookie recipe that I thought would work well, alas :/

These are pretty good though :D
