I think I have been listening to too many Cthulhu christmas songs, or else I should Blame Rob's DC character, or something. I had a mythos dream last night! But I wasn't dreaming anything about things in the mythos, but about the meta mythos. Which is that someone (Haze or Rob, maybe?) either wanted to run a game set in one of the mythos verses, r was writing a story set in them, or something, and we were trying to find the name of one of the worlds or one of the stories or something. So for some reason I called tsiankiio to ask her. Only she was living at 'home' (which was not her home) instead of being married to justnukeit, and had a really annoying little brother names Travis. In the dream, I was on the ohone with her, but the visuals were all of her side of things. We were trying to find the name of a specific setting for some mythos thing, and we knew all the different authors who had contributed, and I was asking her if she'd read any stuff by Howard, or Smith, etc, and I threw in Robert Jordan too, as I know he used to write Conan stories, but I told her that Wheel of Time didn't count. However someone else said they thought that they'd heard that he had included some references to this particular place in the WoT series. Anyway eventually she had to get off the phone because her brother was being highly annoying, and also her kitten had thrown up. It was an odd dream. I also remember looking through the internet for stuff about a tv show. And no, I don't think that the place we were looking for ever actually existed in the mythos, only in my brain. But it was some place that the elder gods had been worshiped and such, and some of the mythos contributors (I want to say Smith and or Howard, but not Lovecraft himself) had written a bunch of stories set there. I think there were also dinosaurs.

Anyway, upon waking up (rather groggily) because someone was knocking at my door (delivering my Shoes!), I thought it was very odd, as Kiio mostly reads sci-fi, and really would not be on my list of people to ask about Mythos things. Which would really go about as follows: Joel, Jodie, Cat, in that order. Actually, shame on me for forgetting fiachra, who actually ably answered Mythos for me when I wanted to include references in my Hist Arch papers last term ^-^

Anyway, I think I am going to wash dishes, have some foods (in that order, you'll note), and then go swimming :) Tonight I expect there will be more drabble writing, as I plan to use my walking/swimming time to plot stuff for drabbles and so forth. Maybe if I am feeling patient I will mess around with my sewing machine tension some more -_-
