Well, here I go! In a couple more hours, I'll be internet-less fro a whole three weeks :o I think I might make it. I'm crossing my fingers that all the excavation stuff will keep me distracted. I've also got my journal with me, so maybe I can do some creative writing in my off time. On the other hand, I'm also bringin printout of each section of my dissertation so far. Eep!
I'm really tired this am. Partly this is because I went to Dissolution last night, despite the fact that I knew I had to be up early-ish today. There was a bunch of bands playing, and the last one (the only one I heard more than one song by, the Dream Disciples) were pretty good. Nothing overwhelmingly original, but a decent live show. I'd grabbed a few of their mp3's before I went to hear them, so I'd know what I was in for, but if I keep them it will be more because I'm too lazy to delete them than because I like them. They did do a few songs I did quite like, but not ones of which I can remember the names, of course.
I actaully left Dissolution early, though. Which means at 2, instead of at 3 ^-^. I very rarely leave the dance floor... Dancin' is fun! :D No, I *don't* know where I get the energy. I also wore my 6 tiered skirt out, which was tonnes of fun :D I got lots of comments on it, from both people I know and people I didn't. Compliments rule :)
I'm not sure if it was the stress/excitement about leaving for the dig today, or just because I didn't sleep long enough for it, but I didn't get any of the usual weird dreams I get after Disso. Ahh well.... Maybe I'll sleep on the trip to Whitton ^-^
See you all in three weeks... I tell you, I'm *not* looking forward to all the time waiting that getting caught up on journals and webcomics is going to take me.

Oh, one more thing... I'm really going to miss my music. I think being without my cd's and mp3's for 3 weeks might drive me just as mad as not having the internet...
