Well. Well well.

Can I say 'bleah'? I think I can. And I will. Bleah.

I'm sick, and it sucks ass. I'm not sick in any particularly incapacitating way, just in a way hat precludes any kind of mental exertion or concentration. This means I can't write anything on my dissertation, which again, suck ass. Instead, I'm scanning in some photos that I took in random souther English churches. And I'm doing this at the lab, even though there is a scanner at M&I's/home for various reasons. The first is that the image manipulation software that came with the pc installation for the scanner is absolute crap. And the scanning software doesn't let you preview or really do much of anything, except scan an image to another program, as far as I can tell. I could have borrowed a computer and done it there anyway, but I'd have been in my room and the temptation to nap would likely have become overwhelming. And I was too frustrated with the whole thing to try and find any decent image software stuff on the net.

Also, I like getting out of the house. It exposes me to things like 'fresh air' and 'exercise'. Hurray. And will help me reduce my feet to a bloated bloody mess before we go on excavation. I mean, help me break in Mary's Doc's, which she is thoughtfully lending me.

So, here I am... scanning and adjusting pictures. I'm almost done now. Then i have to send them back to myself, via e-mail. Hopefully it shouldn't be too much of an issue, since I've got a new account to play with, that isn't as on crack about stuff as hotmail. hurray.

Then, I think I'll go home and nap, before EiS, orelse the captain may fall asleep before she gets written out of the next three session.

Blarg. Also, I was going to brng either CD's and headphones or borrow Ian's ipod, but I forgot both, because my disease addled brain can't hold more than one thought at a time.
