I haven't updated much while I've been away, but things are going well. This is just a quick note before I crawl off to bed. I spent today shopping. I got some underpants, a pair of regular black cargo pants (<3 Army surplus), and some snacks. Spent new years with Hazel, drinking a little, reading while she talked to her boy, making stroopwafels, eating them, and watching The Mummy. A.k.A. the Best Movie Ever. I never get tired of it. We also found Crack Chips (Japaleno doritos), and my belly is telling me I have put too much junk in it. Oh, and we went to a tasty Lebanese place for dinner. And my dad called.
Visit has been most excellent so far. I haven't gotten nearly enough reading and thesis stuff done, though. I'm going tot need to put myself on a very tight schedule when I get back home. But the Book I *am* reading is a really important one in some ways, and it is probably good that I read it in this much detail. I'd probably have gotten more done, except that I am also trying to write up a character/character history fro Joel's upcoming game, and re-readA Storm of Swords.
Anyway, on to the crawling into bed thing. My new pants chafe my thighs :(
