elanya at 10:21am on 18/12/2005I'm here in to. Arrived after very uneventful flight (first of these in a while.. They even had all my luggage! They must be saving the chais for when I return :p), met by Steve. Went to his and Julie's place, met Arthur (adorable :D), Hazel came over, later Rob. Watched Prince Of Space (MST3K). I like it very much. I'm staying at Robs because he has a spare bedroom and a spare bed.
Yesterday, we were supposed to go to the gym, but didn't. Went to see King Kong, which was absolutely *awesome*. Go see it. A very good mix of comedy and drama, and in fact I tought it had a good mix of comedic and dramatic characters sharing the screen, which somehow it worked really well. Then Hazel Rob and I went shopping. Had dinner at the food court, then Hazel and I went back to her place. I got the tour, saw the boys (I patten Bjorn's nose. I'd forgotten how *soft* willas are. soooo soft. Nothing is softer than a chinchilla ;_; I washed my hands right away though. Then we went to the grocery store to get stuff for baking and our goose for Christmas dinner. expensive, eep! But necessary. Then we baked stuff for Jen's thingy: I made rasberry tarts (best christmas 'cookie' ever) and Hazel made a pie. mmmm, pie! We watched some Zombie flicks while this was on: Land of the Dead and City of the Living Dead, both of which were great (I'd see Land before though). And then, I was shattered, and took the subway back to Fishy's place all by my own, and fell asleep and only got up a few min ago. Whee!
Today is Jen's potluck, but I might wander over to J&S's place this morning/afternoon for a bit, if they'll have me. Maybe I can drag Hazel over there and we can watch Profit or The Shadow, if folks are interested. Fioshy has to work. I'm going to shower, dress and call people right after I post this. And check my e-mail, and grades. whee!
EAT: ergh, I am a bad sister. I was so sure I'd packed those movies: I'd set them aside with all the presents and stuff, and I double checked that they weren't lying around somewhere hidden before I left (I feared re-opening the suitcase, see), and they were nowhere to be seen. So I erroneously deduced that they must be in the suitcase, Stupid Occam's Razor, you've failed me for the latest time! wewll, I will call ppl now anyway
