I gamed today :D I <3 Sol, he is so awesome-fun! And he has the worst luck with saves. usually it is will saves. Today it was fortsaves, as I lost 7 str to spider poison. Ahh well, at least I got the book I was after! Maybe. So now I will go back to town and hole up in some fancy assed hotel suite with some nice cushy whores and my big evil book of doom to recouperate ^-^ Possibly, I will se about indulging my recently aquired addiction. Se, I should try to fight it, I know, bu the problem is that Sol is... well, pretty much a hedonist, and he isn't exactly *aware* that his recent craving is the result of anything other han an honest craving. So I am just not sure whether I *shoud* resist, other than the fact that a lot of those substances can really fuck you up :o Drugs are bad, mmmm'kay? Also, he totally was sad when we 'rescued' some slaves whose will was really broken, as they would have had a high resale value (about 1350 gold for the lot) :/ Sol isn't really a bad person, he's just not a good one.

I am slightly sad that it is't the kind of campaign where all the little details of his personality that I have in my head will necessarily come into play... like the way he deals with whores. His mom was a whore, afterall, and he has a great deal of respect for classy hookers.

Anyway. I just got off the phone with Hazel, and now I need to keep doing laundry, and maybe eat something. I should also finish my paper (my other paper... because I can, not because I have to). When will I get another chance to write about The Shadow for a paper?

After that, since the world seems pretty empty tonight, I have a few things I could do. I could read more pulps. I want to see if I have the first one with Margot. I could work on one of my stories. I could do some dishes (I may *need* to do this, really), or I could read a different book... Either the one Tsiankiio lent me ages ago that I am slowly working through, or else a Flashman book.

Tomorrow, I have a Dr.'s appt to get my womanly bits prodded at, and get a refill on my inhaler, and then I turn in my paper. After that.... I have nothing to do until Thursday, except slack and study. Whee!

Also, isn't it uncanny how much this guy looks like Fishy?
