I feel like I have passed some big hurdle with school. I only have two things left to do and neither of them are overwhelmingly intensive.
In other news... it looks like my next semester is goig to cost me....Three dollars. Seriously: Three dollars. $3.00.
FUCKIN' A!
*hem*
How is this possible? Well, the universe smiles upon me, that is how. I live a charmed existence. Thi is further proof. I went to talk to Carl today to figure out if I was getting another partial tuition waiver, or what, this term, so I could prepare to balance my finances when I was in Canada. Well, apparently, I am getting a *full* waiver, because, amazingly enough, they have the money to go around for once for older (qualifying) students. but that is not all my dears. Apparently they are actually giving me *two* scholarships: the 1000$ one, and a 500$ one that no one applied for. Apparently they thought that my thesis could theoretically be fit into a 'naval history' category, and they gave me the Eller scholarship, since they couldn't very well just *not* give it out.
I went and looked at what the in-state fees are for taking 6 credit hours of classes for one term: $1,503.
So yes, I will owe the school a whole three dolars come January. I feel very grateful :D
...I am also tired, still, from not sleeping last night, hungry becausxe I've had hardly a thing to eat, and bored because there seems to be no one online (and this is my first night of 'freedom', too, booo!)
I am also worried because some things I was expecting to see in the mail by now (a gift for Arthur, and that cheque from Jodie) have still not arrived,. But it has only been a week and two days, and I ought to be patient. however, the cheque is especially important atm since I am getting quite financially stretched, with paying fees for bunches of thing (two flights, dance class fees, SHA membership fees, A&M application fees, money for the hotel at
tsiankio's wedding... they add up to, well a lot).
So on one hand, I am really well off atm, in another sense I am verging on 'worryingly poor.'
But I must end on an upnote! I'm gonna make a smoothie, and then maybe someone will be around to play with :D
Play Play Play!

Or we could hit IHOP or something similar....

Take this to Memorial Drive, and turn Right onto Memorial.
From Memorial, take a Left onto Dickinson Avenue. If you need a landmark, it is just past the 'medical shopping centre', which will be on your left.
Take Dickinson to 10th street, which will be on your Right. keep an eye out after you cross 14th... The next few streets aren't numbered, but 10th will be coming up quickly.
Is that all clear? :D
Once you are on 10th street, you're pretty much set, as this is the street I live on, wooh! You have to drive past the university, and the last traffic light befoe my place is at 10th and Elm. The next landmark is a papa John's pizza place on the right (some of the letters are burnt out, I think it just reads OHNS pizza right now.... green and red neon sign). There are a bunch of apartment buildings along 10th on the left, most of them named (kind of plant) Gardens. In between these apartments and my place is a Daycare centre with a blue roof (also on the left). the daycare is nestled between the playground and swimming pool. Once you see it, look immediately for the next driveway. There is a small sign that says Reedy Branch. The driveway is pretty steep too, just so you know :)
I am in apartment P, which is at the top of the first stairway in the first building.
whee!
