I left shortly before 1 to drive to Durham with Dina and Matt. We had a good time at the thanksgiving Tsiankiio's dad put on. There were about 40 people there, of all ages... And so much food! There was, like, 20 pies, and I'm not exaggerating. *four turkeys*! Four! Plus mashed taters, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, a bunch of different exciting fruit salads, etc etc etc! madness. Did I mention 40 odd people? And it all went well.

Also, how is this for small work scenarios? Tsiankiio's main of honour (I think), who is planning to be a priest, is actually Canadian by birth (also her sister, Steph, who was also in attendance ;) She (Jen) actually went to Mount A for Religious Studies/Divinity stuff. Her dad is from Lincoln. We talked about samosas, and how awesome the market is in F'ton. It made me all nostalgic ;_; I want samosas and market foods!

The shower was tame, but it was alright. There was a chocolate fountain. We dressed little kids in gowns made of toilet paper. I think ours was the best, but I'm biased ;)

The drive home was cool too, talking with D&M about various and sundry. A good day, and filled with more food than I have seen in a while. I had cake that I dipped in the chocolate fountain, because that's just the kind of girl I am ^-^ now, however, I am very very tired. I sleep now.
