I'm finally home and remembering to listen to [Bad username or site: Balthcat's @ livejournal.com] show via webcast from CHSR back home in Fried-chicken, as the station identification says ^-^
The show on before his show is crap, and the DJ is a stupid wench. From the whole 30 seconds I had to listen to her and the five minutes or so of her unintelligble yelling 'music'.
Apart from that... Theoretically, it was my frind Phil's birthday, and he was doing 'something' for it, but I never found out what, or where... Instead, I wound up going over to Liz and Tim's, and Tim showed me how to do all the rest of the stuff I need to finish my medieval kit. He also gave me a never-used pair of braise (basically, linnen draw-string boxer, for any among you who may have been dying to know more about medieval boy-panties ^-^). He also lent me a pourpoint for the next two weekends. I got some wool from him to make my own though... Green with a mustard yellow lining. He is also lending me a hat. Liz lent me all the stuff I need to dress like a girl, though :D This includes a shift, a navy blue kirtle, a long belt, and a complicated two-piece cloth hat (eep!). Anyway, as long as I finish pointing my hose (what were people thinking back then? "I know, I have a great idea! We can *tie* our pants to our vests to keep them up! It's genius!"), and get the fastening stuff put on my boots, I'll be all set. Go me :D
Other things accomplished today include: Picking up my sleeping bag, hemming the codpiece of my hose (mental note: hem ankles too! And make button holes!), renewing a few books I need, and writing a whole 200 word on my dissertation. Hey, I had to start with something, and all this sewing makes me get tired easily...
I'm gonna go grab a snack, keep listening to the Kitty show, and fall asleep now, since no onw is around at all...
