1. bartholomew roberts:
   A pretty cool 18th C pirate, who took over Howell Davis's crew after he was shot down by the Portuguese. Roberts was the most successful pirate of his time, but there is some debate as to wther or not he actualy *enjoyed* it.
2. charles johnson:
   Author of A General history of the Pirates, possibly a pen name for daniel Defoe, but probably not. An intriguing figure because of the debate surrounding the text.
3. diablotin:
   A super duper awesome D&D game that Curtana ran online. I played a super-sexy indecsive nobleman with a gun ^-^ I miss Kalman. I killed Davilas, though!
4. folk music:
   This is my mother's fault, and also the reason I tend to sing too much when no one is looking. It also makes me want to learn to play Instruments, but that has yet to actually occur. Really I like all kinds of music, this is probably just one of the less popular kinds I especially enjoy.
5. grim faeries:
   A band, possibly defunct now, that sing about faerie things and were associated, I believe with My Life in the Thrill Kill Cult. Farie Raide is a great song.
6. leonard cohen:
   An amazing Canadian poet and songwriter. I an always inspired by his stuff, but I don't think I am as much of a fan as my sister, who owns all his albums and many of his books, even the obscure hard-to-get ones.
7. perseity:
   Another awesome game, this one run by Forthright. I played a rich night club owner, and also a crazy Peruvian. crazy. Ten-gallon-cazy-hat crazy. Apo was awesome.
8. queen anne's revenge:
   Man, this thing is all about pirates, music and gaming! I guess that is pretty much my life though. Queen Anne's revenge was Blackbeard's flagship, and is probably the ship that the Underwater Archaeology Branch of North Carolina is excavating off the coast of Beaufort Inlet.
9. swords:
   I like swords!
10. zombies:
    Zombies are interesting. I know many people who they terrify, and who are obsessed with planning for an inevitable zombie attack. i find it interesting how common this mindset in regards to zombies actually is. maybe I should turn this ito a poll. What are *your* thoughts on zombies? Do you have a plan? Do you know someone who does? Are you *seriously* afraid of them?
