I have almost everything together for my commonwealth grant application. All I need to do is touch up my proposal just a littttle bit, and write the personal description. I figure I can mention the Niagara stuff, the cadet stuff, maybe, dancing, creative writing... should I say I'm a gamer? Is that a good thing, a bad thing, just a thing? What else about me is worth mentioning?
If only I was still doing kung-fu, I could tell them I am a bellydancing pirate kung-fu fighter! That would be memorable, I'm sure. Should I be formal? Dare I be a bit silly? The point of it is to make myself look good, *interesting*, and worthy of giving money too.
I do still need the passport photos, and get some university 'administrator' type to sign/'certify' my birth certificate. Then I'll have everything I need to send ready to go, and I can sent it out priority tomorrow. Phew!
Now, I am going to go back over to the library and grab a book on sea level changes and archaeology, maybe. Eek! So much to do, so bloody little time.
But have a nice Trafalgar Day, everyone :)
