elanya at 07:33pm on 20/10/2005I have all my letters from Dr. Ewen, and I know Dr Babits will be getting to them, like, tomorrow. Apparently, he really likes me, or so Dr. terjanian seems to think, so hopefully he will have lots of good things to say and not give any backhanded compliments like he did for Maria. Eek!
Tomorrow, after Hist 4000, I am going to go and get my pictuires done. Right this minute, I am going to further max out my visa and get more transcripts sent to the commonwealth people :p I need to get proof of registration form somewhere, and I don't know where/from who, so I am going to e-mail the graduate secretary about that now too. I can do all these things at once because of the Amazing Powers of the Internet! whee!
Apparently, I also have to fill out a section showing what an amazing person I am for the commonwealth thingy:
Academic achievements, though important, are not the only criteria in selection. In the space below, please tell the Selection Committee something about yourself, your extra-curricular activities, community involvement and any accomplishments that demonstrate your leadership potential.
Anyone have any reccomendations about what sorts of things I should talk about? I'm sort of at a loss o_O There is no limit to space on that one, either. Eek!
