elanya at 01:00am on 21/06/2002I'm actually really tired right now. I'm actually thinking of going to bed before two... Or maybe it is just that I'm insanely bored :o
My day went a little like this: wkae up around 11, do net stuff. The pirate stuff Joel tried to send me last night never came though, so I e-mailed him. I spent a few more hours working on my boots. Then, around two PM, I contemplated going through some notes for my dissertation or maybe going to the Library. Instead of doing any of that, I called Mary, and we went out to a few second hand shops looking for clothes to wear on digs this summer. She was far more practical than me, in that she got two pairs of pants, and two shirts to wear as over shirts, I got a nice pair of red pants, and a little white midriff just 'cause I've been wanting one for a while. I did buy a raincoat, though, because it was cheap and I don't have one. Then we went to KFC, and then to a fruit stand, and then back to her place. We borrowed a cat, too.. a little black one. Very friendly but possibly flea-ridden, so it wasn't allowed inside the house. It did stick around for quite ahile, though. So did I... I read some of the info that Mary had on our dig this summer, and geeked for a long time with Ian about the Vampire LARP thing. Watched the end of Galaxy Quest too, whee! What a great film... Then I was restless, so I walked home. I bought some cheap honeycomb oce cream (not Ben and Jerry's) at the store next door, and faffed around on the net a bit, quite boredly. I eventually decided to see if we have Sky Premiere so that I could watch Memento at 10... we do, and I did, and made dinner of cream of sweetcorn soup and green beans, too. Then I came back online, was bored to death, and did some sewing. and now, since there is no one around and I'm sleepy, I'm going to do something reasonable and go to bed. Woot.
