I really *reallly* wanted to go to the Decemberists concert in Asheville. but it is on sept 30, which is the opening night of Serenity, and also, in Asheville.
I actually looked into the rates for greyhound( 98$ for an advance purchase... the same as going to see Ayr), and +/-12 hours each way. That's just infeasible, especially when the only bus would get me *to* Asheville at not-quite 5 AM ;_; And I wouldn't be able to get *back* until Sunday. They are sold out in DC. It is just not meant to be. I was hoping I could have an adventure... and early birthday present for myself, but I guess not. Boo ;_;
