I am out of salsa ;_;
In other random news, there is something nice about reading about the 18th century and listening to classical music. I find classical stuff ihelps me concentrate more. It is better background for me than more modern music... Or at least, music with lyrics.
Also, I think either my socks or my soap came today, but all I have to show for it is a post office slip. So, I have to get up relatively early tomorrow and trudge down there, bah! I can also stop at the bank, and maybe at a store on the way back, because maria got me some bulk rice, and chik peas. I want to see if I can make my own hummus! Yum :D But it means getting up early, because the post office has gay hours on weekends, and also, it is Far. I just had a fun thought though! when I am older I can tell "When I was your age, I had to walk 6 miles through the blasting heat to pick up sock! Socks!" Well, it is, according to map quest, about 2.5 miles each way, and you know how old people like to exxagerate. It hasn't even been that hot lately! ;)
In other news, I kicked *ass* at the history cardgame thing this afternoon. All your ships are belong to me! :) I thought i had more to say, but, once again, I'm either wrong, or I've forgotten. Back to de Toquevile, it seems... Oh now I remember. I wanted to say how it just isn't *right* that I've read 45 pages of text, and close to thirty pages of 'notes' o_O It does mean that I am closer to done than it seems, even if I'm only on page 45. The book is only 300 pages. however, I am having to take extensive notes, so it is slow going. Notes because I need to be able to refer to stuff easily two weeks from now, in the discussion, because it helps me remember, and because after I read the two and a bit other books, I won't remember this one well enough to write my reading analysis. *sigh*. No, I haven't finished correcting the other one, but that was because I realized that if I didn't do non-computer work, I wouldn't get *anything* done tonight. ¬_¬ Okay, leaving the slave box again....
I do wish I had more salsa, though.

That's not surprising... I remember seeing a study a while back which indicated that the structured classical pieces reinforce certain thinking patterns conducive to studying and memory.
