The toys of ego

so.... I like singing. It is somethig that I do a lot, but mostly when there is no one around to hear me.

However, I got this whole microphone/headset thing, and I thought, why not? I I grabbed a voice recording program (thanks [livejournal.com profile] oscuridad!), and played. I have not mastered the program. I just recorded a few things straight through. I'm really just playing. ON the other hand, I also have an ego the size of... well, something at least *moderately* large. So I thought i would ask if anyone wanted to hear what I sound like when I'm singing ;)

I have two tracks that I can pass around. One of the premier recording (as far as I know) of that horribly twisted filk, penned by Shan, Hazel and myself, The Big Bukakke Mountain. The other is a traditional ballad, Twa Corbies. Nither is perfect, by any means, but they're not bad. I took delight in singing BBM as nicely as I could, because the song is rancid enough on its own ^-^ So if you would like to hear either, let me know and I will e-mail.

I did also make a recording of the Moose song, but that is just on the off chance that random Brits might harass me for it ;p

I do, of course!

With you having a microphone, we could even cover a song together by sending mp3s via gmail or some such ^_^

What I want to hear is the Plankie song, to be honest. :)

BBM sounds... I don't know. Do I want to hear it? :)

As for Twa Corbies, I hope it's not in Welsh or something.
