It is my da's birthday tomorrow. It is also my friend Michelle's birthday. She has arranged to have a party tonight... which happens to be my mom's birthday. I'm sure she would be happy for me to have a chance to get dressed up and go out. And dressed I am! I am wearing my Little Black Cocktail Dress, which in this case is the short (especially short now) black velvet dress with flowy sleeves that my mother made me to wear to my grade ten (ha!) dance. It is much tartier now, especially with the addition of my corset... and pearls. My mother's, of course. I thought it would be a nice tribute, and also, they go with the outfit. Of course, the outfit is black, so anything would go with it. I feel kind of like I'm playing dress-up. I wish I had more gold rings, though. And possibly some tights that weren't leapord print. I was going to wear stockings, but my only good pair has a run ;_; Ahh well... It's fun, and I think it works, regardless :) I am particularly proud of my hair. I did ringlettes all by myself, yay!

I will take party pictures, and eventually they will get posted. But trust me, I look awesome. Now, I must take an allegra and a zantac. there are animals, and vodka drinks give me heartburn. But this, oh yes, this will be fun!
