Yesterday was my last day sailing ;_; It was a good sail though, so I'm happy about that :) I got to do a bunch of stuff that I hadn't before. I unfurled the main topgallant all by myself ^-^

etir for one thing :) He drove up from... wherever it is he lives around Pitsburgh. The first thing we had to do was go and pay my bartab from the night before because ah... I kind of walked out of the bar without paying, leaving my credit card behind. It was a martini bar. Enough said. Anyway, we both thought it was amusing "Yay, I finally got to meet Lannie, and ther first thing we do is go opay her bar tab!" ;) I have been drinking a lot more here than I have ever elsewhere, thus supporting tsiankiio's theory about boat people. It also helps that one of the bars here is dirt cheap. I swear I had about, hmmm... 5 different mixed drinks/shots that were on my tab last night, and my whole bill was 17.50. It *also* helps that one of the bartenders, who is really one of the best bartenders I've dealt with, really likes us, and is inclined to do things like just not mark things on the tabs :)
Anyway, back to Rasis! We went to Quiznos for food, and then tried to find something to do. We decided on a movie. We wound up going to see Land of the Dead at the dollar theatre. It was preety keen.... Just exactly what I was expecting. We also spent a lot of time in Borders. I came out with the new HP, two Decemberists CD's and some... Presents >:D
I also went to the mall with Swann and Alexis last night and bought a The Faint CD at Hop Topic. We wanted to get away from the ship and get some nice dinner. It was good. So I've bought a few things, anyway. rah! And it was awesome to see ras in person. It made me think that I should have harassed the Ohio folks to come up and see me while I was here. Curses for not thinking of it earlier!
Anyway, I do have more news and gossip to relate, but it is the sort of thing better shared in person. I will, however say, that I am a tart.
