elanya at 04:15pm on 22/07/2005Yesterday was pretty awesome all around. I went for a walk in the morning out to the Sally Anne here with a bunch of people. I got a couple of tank tops, some jean shorts (I'm still confused myself. Well, they'll be useful :p), and some 100% Thai Silk silver/pinkish/bluish iridescent shorts. ooooh yeah! I'm goint to take the hem/cuff thing out of them, and pout in elastics, so that they will be bloomers that I can wear with knee-high stripey socks. Rock.
Yesterday afternoon, as noted, I met up woth one of ther girls from the perfume forum, and that went rather well actually. After she came back with her family, they took me out to dinner at this decent little buffet place, and we talked about all kinds of crap. Fun. And then she gave me some perfume samples :D So now I have a little bit of Miskatonic University (I smell like irish cofee ^-^), Wildfire (a limited edition blend that i really wanted to try), and a little bit of peppermint singlenote, which smells so delicious I just want to drink it :o
Anyway, all was well. Today we cleaned up around the site, because apparently the governor is coming tomorrow morning for some little publicity thingy. Wooh. Tonight, I will probably go out, especially if Red, the mate for my divisioin, is back from the tests he had to take to get various ship related licences. Wooh! It will be either celebratory or concillatory (though I expect the former), but I'm sure liquor will be involved either way. :D
And now I'm going to run off because the library is closing soon :o
