I had a really weird dream about Star Wars last night. I dreamed I was watching episode three... Only it was set in remote parts of New Brunswick, which geography that in my dream I was familiar with, but doesn't actually exist (especially in regards to certain imaginary sections of the St. John and Nashwak rivers...) Yeah, so Obi Wan and my grandfather (well, in my dream, it my grandfather was all proud to be in actor, anyway. And apparently he had perfect teeth too. o_O) had to go on this quest up a river to look for someone. And Obi Wan fell in love with this chick who had all these daffodils and wore them in her hair. And she had his kid, or something... Meanwhile, Anakin, who was kid Anakin from the first movie, and another kid who may have been Luke were also at a lake somewhere... And they had to go through some sort of baptism thing... the kid was like a mini-Anakin, anyway, and Anakin was dressed like from ep. two, with the leather and black, but still the ep. 1 kid... anyway. At the end, Obi Wan flew away, only he was wearing a brown caftan instead of his Jedi robes, and went to the daffodil girl. And Anakin said something to him just before about taking care of the kid... And then said something to the kid about how he should be preparing to be his young Padiwan... And he reached into the lake, where the kid was, and the kid grabbed his finger like a baby, and Obi Wan was all flying off over the river. I remember thinking that it was very unlike all the other SW movies (go figure!), kinda trippy and wanna-be artsy. I also thought it was cool that we were left with a sense that the kid would have something to do with how Anakin turned to the Dark Side.. Anyway. I remember I was watching this on the big screen at the UGC here, with a bunch of the people who were at Dissolution last night, still all dressed. And I gloated a bit about my grandfather being in the movie. I remember specifically gloating to Phil for some reason. Probably because I know he is a big SW geek. My grandfather had a scene at the start where Obi Wan came to him for help with something.. only I don't remember if it was Obi Wan already at that point... oy. And he was too stubborn to let OW use the serger to fix/make his piece of rope. And, yeah, then they went looking for a part of the river. And my grandfather was playing a native guy, and it might not have been him initially, either. They were going to a specific sacred spot on the river... where they could camp on the shore but the tide wouldn't touch them, so that OB (Maybe he was Raif Severance at that point, from J.V. Jones's Sword of Shadows series?) could do... something. Possibly find Anakin and his mini-self/Luke. Oy.

I do remember it a bit more clearly than that, but I can't think of how to explain the wackiness of it all.. o_O I'm sure it's pretty disjointed, and you guys can all get the sense of it, anyway. As I said, bizarreness.

Also, anyone who mocked me for not recognizing Blasphemous Rumors is a raunchy skank cunt :p I'd never heard that song before, although I did think it sounded a bit like DM...
