I didn't nap. I worked on my prospectus until 6, did dishes adn made dinner until seven, then faffed around chatting with folks and making some cds.

I made two for playing in the van on the way to Bath, if people are amenable. One is sillier, and also more vulgar than the other. Possibly also more awesome. If you ask me nice, maybe I can make *you* copies ;)

Stan Rogers - Barrett's Privateers
The Decemberists - The Mariner's Revenge Song
John Renbourn Group - Ye Mariner's All

The Odds - Heterosexual Man

Thanks :) There are more pirate songs that I would have liked to put on it, but I don't have them on mp3. Maybe I will make a new one when Amy is finished her/my song ^-^

Pirate songs are awesome. I haven't done anything yet, but I totally bookmarked those pirate lyrics you sent to her so I can make a booty song "when I get around to it," some time after Dr. Who and Staying Alive, I suppose...

The Arrogane Worms? (Arrogant?) I only have a version by Captain Tractor, and I thought it was the original... I'm curious, now.

I think that maybe Captain Tractor is the *character* singing the song, as part of am AW skit.

I love the sound of that pirate mix. I need to keep an eye out for more pirate songs because I don't have all of them (yet) :-)

Might I recommend "Weird Beard" by Mad Caddies? It's a punk rock pirate song, and it's very good.

I would love to get my hands on some of those piratesongs you've got there!
