I am sleepy. I had an appointment with Student Health this morning for my physical. We got must of it donw, except the hearing and visialparts, which apparently need to be done by a special person. Bah! This is extrememly inconvenient, since I am going to be away for fieldschool. I would pretty much have to miss a whole day to get in an hour long (at the absolute most) appointment. How retarded is that? Well, in the end, I might be able to work something out. We shall see...

I went to the oorientation. I was surprised to hear (a rumour) that other grad students think Dr. Ewen marks hard. Buh? What kind of dumb lazy slackers must they be, I wonder? :o It could be untrue, as well. I thought he was super slack, but it is possible that I am just more clever and capable than I am giving myself credit for. Anyway, it loks like a good season. We are going to be traipsing around bath digging up people's lawns. Well, kind of. We are doing a lot of surveys, plus some excavations in specific areas. We are digging around the church. Possibly the bishop is going to come and help us dig around the church. We might find skellies! :D Or at least graves. We also have to do a paper tracing the owners of various lots in the town. Us grad students have to do at least two, but it is only ten to fifteen pages, and we have all kinds of resources. Should be easy. *And* we will have some Friday afternoons free to work on it (*snerk*), so maybe I can schedule the rest of my exam then :p

It seems strange to me, but we only have eight people in the clasas, plus two crew chiefs. Whatevah, I guess. Should be fun :)

And this Thursday, I am off to Savannah! Wheeeeee!
