elanya at 05:39pm on 09/05/2005I came home briefly after going to the Niagra thing this morning. I ate the other half of the banana I'd tried to have for breakfast (I was feeling mych better by then, thanks). I called a *cab*. I had a plan. My plan was to go to Bed, Bath and Beyod and get a wedding present, go to target and getsome shorts and maybe some tanktops, and then to go to Lowes or Kroger (a grocery place, anyway), and get some random groceries.
I actually went to target frst. I looked at swisuit, briefly, before runnig away in horror. i couldn't find any tanktops that fit decently either. It shouldn't be that hard, damnit! I did get a pair of shorts. Apparently, I wear a size 12. This is a surprise... I assumed it would be more, though I'm not sure why. I haven't actually bought pants or shirts in a store for about a million years, though. I did find a comfy dark-brown t-shirt, so I bught it too. Woooh! I also bought a little atomizer bottle at the dollar store. Also woooh!
Then, I walked over to BB&B, where I was foiled by my own idiocy! I had put the wedding invitation in my purse this morning so that I wouldn't have to worry about my complete inability to remember a: daria's last name and b: Bart's last name *right*. I alwasy always *always* think it is Kesley. It is not. It is Kelsey. Fah! So, since I couldn't give them the right name for the registry database, I couldn't get nothing today :p
Ahh well. I Will go back later. But since I was unable to filfill my primary misson, I decided that it would be too expensive to taxi home. So, I decided to walk, and to get minimal groceries (apparently, for the record, the ECU buses are *not* running these days :p). I got half a rotissery chicken to eat along the way, some strawberries (yum!), pita, humus, conditionner, and sunblock. Then I walked home. And here I am! Wooh!
the great question now becomes.... and then what? :o DC is off... I guess I can work on Gnomes!
