It has been a strange weekend.

I was hardly home all day! I only woke up at 11:20, which was in no way a good thing, since I was supposed to be at Maria's at 12:00. Well, I was about half an hour late, I'd guess, and I even had breakfast! After that, I wandered around for about half an hour, then headed over to meet tsiankiio and Michelle to work on the regatta boat. They'd scavenged some premium inch thick corrugated cardboard from behind Sears. So, we spend all today making the boat -- a flat bottomed, boat shaped boat -- out of cardboard, duct tape, silicone caulking (gimme that caulk!), and pool noodles. It is about ten feet by three and a half or four feet. *huge*! It has a mast, but that is only for the pirate flag, which I must remember to bring tomorrow, along with the cupcakes, my weapons, my kite, and, um... something else? Ahh right, my sword >:D I am going to do up a pitcher of daquiries to keep in our cooler. I also need to get batteries for my stereo. So, right now, I need to make the cupcakes. After I do the dishes... heh heh.. It's been a good weekend ^-^

I have more to say, but I am just starting cupcakes at quarter to one! Meep! Ahh well, at least I am not pretending like I am going to finish writing a twenty page paper by tomorrow ^-^

ETA: tsiankiio, if you are anything like me and check your LJ obsessively first thin g in the AM, and are still planning to come in early to work on your paper, and need someplace to store the dip you are bringing (yes?), then call me when you get into town, since I need to be woken up early-ish anyway. Arr! Also: dowel, wetsuit/swimsuit stuff, weapons, and... I can't remember what else you need to bring now -_- But look up 'Revenge' in Greek :D
