Okay, it is offical. My brain is starting to melt from my ears. ironically, I know I am probably ahead of other people in terms of school work and such to be complete, but I still feel pretty draines. I am about 18 pages into this 20 page paper. maybe I can even finish it today. I just need to figure out how I am going to organize the last sectoin (s). This will beharder, because it is the material that I am least familiar with... pirate trials, and pirate retirement :p And I'm running out of space.

And I keep distracting myself, with all kinds of things. I've written atr least two perfume reviews since I started, I've re-discivered the excitement/amusement of PoTC slash. Just enough to bemoan the general poorquality of fics, and to realize that studying maritime history may have ruined me for nautical slash. i may have to start reading th O'Brian stuff just so I can follow that slash fiction instead. i woudl like to note, for the record, that you cann't really 'fix' a trunion, as it is a critical part of the cast iron cannon body. If it is broken,, which would be trylu impossible, you are pretty much fucked. Time to melt that sucker down and make a new one! Things like this will make me too mean to participate in slash communities, I'm sure. That's okay. It's not a serious hobby... just a side line for distraction. I like the pictures better anyway ^-^

I was sure that there was some other bizzare distraction that I'd gotten into this morning or today. Paybe it was loking up 18th century Japanese erotica to post on the 'woman giving birth to octopus/cthulhu' thread on the perfum forums. Hmmm...

There are two reasons I am tired. First, oen of my lights burnt out, so it is darker in here. Secondly, I have been staring at the screen way too long. This is ironic, as I have only been here this long because I am unable to concentrate. If I could just write straight through, I'd have been done ages ago.
