I woke up early-ish (for me, that means 9:30 ;D) and got ready my stuff for my presentation, dressed and whatnot, then went to school. My presentation went really well except I need to put some more stuff about research aims and past work on the subject into the introduction. I also decided to use at least one more overhead, and probably two.
After that, I came home and... I think I had lunch... oh, yes, I did. I had beef noodles and peas. I played on the computer and tidied my room a bit, but it was such a gorgeous day outside that I couldn't stay in! So I took some books I needed to read for school and a blanket, and went to read in Weston Park. It was very relaxing, and I somehow managed to get work done, plus get an hour nap :o I also took pictures of the flowering shrubs for my mom.
After that I ran a few other little errands and came home to watch Buffy and Angel with Mary and Ian. Then they hijacked me and took me out to see Star Wars! yay! It was pretty cool, but I won't give spoilers or anything. Parts of it were a bit dissapointing though. Anakin was even more annoying than he was as a child. hating him was half the fun of the movie though ;D
The only bad thing about the day was missing EiS... The movie started almost an hour before game was supposed to be on, so I thought I'd be okay... But no. Damn, long movie... Also, damn, slow assed taxi. We had to wait about 25 min for one to come, and then it wasn't even the one we had called... So of course, by the time I did return, everyone else had given up on me showing, and we didn't play. I though they would have started without me, but I guess they needed my guidance to deal with a few things... Which I should have thought of, but didn't, shame on me. Anyway, I'm tired... probably too much sun, too much reading, and waking up at a decent hour. Miao. Hope you have found fascinating the details of my day. Whee!
