I am mostly done my taxes, I think I have entered everything I can, so far. There are just a couple of things that I am not sure how to do, or what to do about.
The first is that I need to get the Doom Form of Ass Raping. I call it that, because this was the form that I didn't have when UI did my 2002 taxes after Sheffield, that caused me to get audited. I suspected that it was sneaking up on me with insidious intentions towards my bottom, and now that is confirmed. However, this time.. at least I know it exists. Hazel, I sent you an ICQ, because you will also need this form, but just to be double sure, and for easy reference, it is here. I knew there was something!
The other thing that I'm not sure how to handle is my assitantship. Do I claim is as a fellowship, or as foreign income? Fortunately, there is a tax number that I can, and will call, probably tomorrow. For my own reference, the info I will need when I call is : Number: 1-800-267-6999 Info Tax: press 4 then 2 (tax information for residents and non-residents of Canada. I am a factual resident.) relevant info-tax numbers and topics: 104-other employment income. 323- tuition and education amounts 999-main menu. I hope I should be able to get that straightened out tomorrow morning. I will go ask Karen or Barbra who I should see about my form. Probably the Cashier's office. It's cool, though, I can handle this, I can, really *deep breath*.
So, what should I do with the rest of my evening? I'm thinking maybe a bath.
