*sigh*

The was not the best travelling experience, on my way out *or* my way in. On my way out, they just lost my luggage.

On my way home... well. It *started* with the plane being delayed 50 minutes. The we had to get de-iced, which took another twenty, after we eventually boarded (and I'll note, that was well after the noted 50 min delay was up). I wasn't too concerned, since I was supposed to have close to a three hour stopover in Charlotte. But then... Then, the plane broke. >_< yes. just as we were about to really take off, they got some kind of warning error thing, so we had to de-plane (their word, not mine!) and go back to the gate. As as soon as we got off, everyone swarmed the US Airways desk, checking on connections, and trying to reschedule. When I finally got up there, I was told that we were *probably* going to Charlotte that night, and then they would put me up in a hotel there for the night, and I'd fly out on the first trip to Greenville in the morning. eventually, this all actually happens. I got to Charlotte, but then I had to figure out how to get ahold of the hotel to get picked up and eventually begged a phone of a car rental guy. I got to the hotel around 12:30, and had to catch the shuttle at 6:30. They did start serving the free continental breakfast at 6, at least... I had a bowl of free froot loops. There were blue loops, and I was confused.

I got to the airport, and the line to get to the ticketing booth was retarded. Fortunately, I only had to wait in the retardedly long line to get through security, ha! It did go pretty fast... I think they were just opening it up when I got there. At least I had no issues going through the metal detectors this time. There is almost always *something*.

Anyway, then I went to spent my 10$ food voucher on a real breakfast. I was hoping for a Cinnabon. They are like.... something really common in the Charlortte airport. Alas, there wasn't one in my terminal, so I decided that i would settle for the Great American Bagel. I thought, or at least hoped, that it would be something like the Great canadian Bagel, with a decent assortment of bagels and flavoured cream cheeses. Of course, that was very foolish of me, since this is the south, and hardly anyone really knows what a bagel is. I settles for a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese (it isn't too bad on a toasted bagel), and some chocolate milk. However.... their toaster was broken, and they were just nuking the bagels instead. Nuking bagels only really just dries them out, and they weren't even nuking them long enough to make them hot. *sigh*. And *then* I had problems gettign them to accept my voucher, because it said 'dinner' and not 'breakfast'. It was issues last night at midnight, when everything in the airport was closed :p Bah. Anyway, that was eventually sorted. I wwent to the gate, and waited. the plane left more or less on time, and I got in to Greenville around 8:50.

They lost my luggage again. >_<

I got home via taxi, eventually. they are supposed to call when they have my lugage so they can drop it off. I got home, turned on the power, and read the mail. I got a bunch of stuff, and a notice that I have to go to the postoffice to pick up my BPAL (I assume). I'm goign to call Dina after 11 (she is in class) about getting Scallywag, and maybe she (or someone?) can take me to the post office. Now... I should probably write that five page proposal, hmm?

I don't supose that anyone can tell me how many feet are in an acre, or approximately how many days of lab work result from one day in the field? Anyone?

Beh. At least Toronto really was worth the hassle. Greenville... not so much -_-

Oh, sweetheart :( That is really a rotten end to your trip. I'm sorry that it turned out so crappily. I miss you already...

But at least I can tell you there are 43560 square feet in an acre.

~Always look on the bright side of life....~

When we first went to disney world our Air Jamaica plane broke. So we were late taking off, we got to miami with like 5 minutes to spare to get from one end of Miami International to the othe to get our connecting flight to Orlando. We ran, we got there to see the plane de cuping from the skywalk and taking off. They said they could put us on the next one in a hour. That's when dad realised his wallet(and our tickets) had fallen out while we were running. He and Demian ran back to find it. Somehow they did.
On our second trip to Disney world... somehow they sent my luggage to Costa Rica! And only mine too. I was without it for days, the airline had to give us money to buy me clothes. When I got it back there was a ploariod of a costa rican lady sitting on a bench, inside my luggage. O_o Nothing was missing and all the locks were closed still.

There have been blue froot loops for a while now...

I want froot loooooooops ;_;

Only the blue ones?

All of them... ;_;

Jeez, that sucks. Well, nuts to US Airways! Glad to hear you're back safely at long last.
