It is the morning of my last day here. My flight leaves around 6, so I have to be at the airport around 4. Boo :( I don't wanna leave :( It's been really awesome to see people, and to loaf around and have nothing I *need* to get done. Well, except I have things I need to get done, I just haven't done them. Shush. I did get all my marking done, which is good, and I finished the huge slavery book of doom for Carl's class. I haven't touched my proposal though, and it is due on Tuesday -_-

I may start that now, or I may just wait to see what I can get down on paper while I am waiting for my plane(s), or even on the plane. Days like this, I could really use a laptop :p Weel, I have about a three hour stop over in charlotte, and I can probably get a bunch done then. Hell, it will probably be better if it isn't *just* typed out, at this stage of the game. I keep telling myself, it is only 5 pages, and that's including the budgety (I think). I'm sure I can fill up the history bits decently enough... Especially if I print some stuff out right now, eeek! Probably what will cripple me the most is that I will get started and then not have the info I need right to hand. Well, wish me luck with it, anyway.

Right now, Julie is still sleeping, and Steve and I are computing. We are going to call Fishy later, since he doens't work until six or so. However, he isn't going to be able to see me off *at* the airport, because Steve and Julie are going elsewhere for a birthday thing for Steve's mom. I know Steve has to go out and get a present for his mom at some point, too, hint hint ;)

I have been doing my best to stock up on backrubs and cuddles while I'm here. However, I think my back will actuallly be better after I get to sleep in my own bed for a bit. I think the slow wandering we did at the ROM yesterday was hard on my lower back. It is a little stiff today :/

On the subject of the ROM, it is totally the busiest museum I have ever been in! The feathered dinosaur exhibit was *packed*, and even the rest of it was fairly busy. I learned a bunch of stuff about how dinosaurs and birds are related, and promptly forgot most ;) However, I did see a skellington (well, a fossil) of a four winged bird :D And Archaeopteryx. And some other cool stuff. We also peeked through the arms and armour bit, plus Egypt and Greece, and ceramics and glass stuff, so I could show people that I am a big geek -_- Ahh well. It's a useful geekiness, at least. Useful to me. Ish.

...right, so now I am going to print some stuff so I can work on that paper later.

And I did mention that I don't wanna go, right? ;_; Well, there are some things worth getting back to in Greenville. Some of the people are cool (but I did buy a t-shirt that says Mean People Suck. And one with Johnny Cash. And one with the A-Team), and also, Scallywag ;)

Other things I acquired:
an assload of postcards
a floofy shirt
first DVD of Invader Zim
some CD's (a couple of middle eastern ones, and some Magnetic Fields)
...surely there was more than that?
...okay, enough blathering :(
Mood:: 'boo :(' boo :(

Wanna trade imps sometime? Eight more days and I will have finished testing all mine. Trying Nosferatu today. Not convinced.
