I got a confused ICQ from my sister, who was trying to remember an alias for an old character of hers. So, of course, that meant I had to go through the Big Binder of Doom to see if I had even taken noted from the campaign in questions.
Of course, turning to the Big Pink Bider of Doom is always a fun excuse to go through old character notes and such. I've had that thing since highschool, and it really needs to be put into something that isn't falling to pieces. Actually, there are some other associated folders that are also fallign to pieces...
Well, anyway, apart from remembering Merril... (Merril *Garland*.. to go with Judith/Judy garland, remember?), which I didn't have written down, but needed the geek stimulus to trigger the recollection, I found some other fun things which i thought I would put out there to refresh the memories of various folks who can reminisce in geekiness with me. Jodie, you should make your Steve read this ;)
1.Jenna Keefe. Terry, Rob... Do you remember when one of you (Rob?) was going to run a DC Kids thing? Low point values? I remember having Roller Blades... Also, Kit: I'm sure this is why I always thing that Jenny's name is or should be Keefe (or O'Keefe), hmmm...
2. I still have the lyrics sheet that I printed out from when I played Vanilla Ice in that one-off that terry ran. "You don't *have* any homies!" "Sure I do! They'se just all back inna hood!"
3. I also have the character sheet form 'Rachel', my contribution to the 'Friends' based Sabbat pack that I played with Ohil and Matt and... some others, whern we had the 24 hour role-play in Sheff ^-6 That was fun. Evil, and mean, and fun >:D
4. I have all of Nathan's notes form The first terry hates us. Aww yeah.
5. I also have all of Lathendar's notes from Rob's old DC game. And I *do* still want to run that thingy, btw!
6. This is for Steve B. I still have *both* my character sheets from that Star Wars game. you know, the one where I convinced you to let me play an ex 'adult-holo vid' star as a cultural Ambassador.. ^-^ I have Thyte's bitter, bitter notes as well. That was fun!
7. I also have the character sheet I played from The Dragonball game matt ran, where Terry played Kaluah, the Black Russian! :D
8. I have character sheets that date back as far as, ohh... 1995! Wow! Maybe earlier. I didn't even look through them all. I have Alex's *original* sheet, Kit! With the original names of his parents and stuff ;) I also have Arden, and a million versions each of Yao and Saren ^-^ Rob and Hazel.... Do you remember 'Enigmastery'? I still have Melko :)
9. I could keep going, I'm sure. I still have the original drawing of 'an Eshu' that Ceiridwen made me, for when we started playing her campaign 9I think), before I decided to ressurect Rhea
10. This one doesn't have anything to do with the pink Binder, but I almost forgot! There has been talk in some circles about ressurecting C-verse. Well... today. I saw a sign! It was quack/chirping at me, or I would never have noticed... the pileated woodopecker! Yay Debbie!
Okay, that is probably enough of that ^-^ Half of the people reading this probably now thing I am utrterly insane. Whee!
Well, I have a list now. Things I need to do tonight:
Laundry.
Clean/pack Scallywag for Dina
Dishes
Write a BPAL story bit before I am gone for a week.
Sleep
Slack off!
Awwww yeah. I'll be killing time online all night, I expect, if anyone is around/bored... ^-^
