I went grocery shopping tonday! Apart fprm the fact that I haven't been in about a month, I also stocked up like crazy on some things, and bought stuff I didn't need (mmm, mni 3-musketeers bars..)./ pretty standard. I wound up getting over two hundred dollars of groceries, though. It had better last me!
I went shopping with Dina, which was fun. We are both trying to talk me into haveing some kind of dinner-y thing, either here, or maybe at her place. I would like to do something here, but I can only host os many people, and I don't have much in the way of post-food entertainment. still... I'm thinking of seeing who is going to be around on the Easter weekend. Easter, Easter Easter! I shoudl e-mail people soon, though, because organizing this group is kind of like herding cats.
I'd intended to go swiming between my morning class and shopping, but that didn't happen. I forgot to bring some photocopies with me that I'd made for Dr. Parkerson. I probably should have just left them in my bookbag, but I had a lot of crap to carry around yesterday. Anyway, I had to come home and get them, and then there was no time for swimming. So I did the dishes, and then walked back to campus to hand them in and have a nice lunch of a vegetarian pizza with spinach and feta, yum!
I did manage to go swimming *after* shopping which is cool, because I had a chance to buy some toiletries to take with me, so I can have more stuff to just leave in my gym bag. Arr! I did twenty laps, there and back. I should ask and see how big that pool is, some time. Anyway, I just got back a little while ago. My arms are sore again, but not as bad as the first time. Actaully, they were starting to get sore on me *before* I went swimming... Probably catch-up from Monday. I also weighed myself at the gym, and proved to myself once again that it doesn't matter what I do, I will always weigh the same... Sometimes it is more fleshy, sometimes more muscle-y.... But always, always the same. How bizzare.
Now, I am going to make dinner! I am going to try that pirate stew, as I've now got all the necessaries. Yum! I will have to consider the rum, though, as Hazel said it didn't especially float her boat. But how can it be *pirate* stew without the rum?
