I have some good news, and a depressing quote form an economist!
I just got back from my class. I was worried about my paper that I handed in last week. I needn't have been. I totally got another A! This means that I've gotten an A on everything I have handed in this term! Go me! I know that it isn't going to last past the mid-term, though, so I'm not worried about jinxing it.
However, I am pretty confident about carl's class now. I got an A on both assignments, and I would have to stop doing any of the readings and stop talking in class for the rest of the term to leave my A in class participation... That's another 30%! I'll have to royally fuck up my paper to do poorly now... That is still a possibility, if I can't find enough decent sources. *sigh* We'll see.
I did go see Carl, and he gave me the call number for the microfiche I was looking for, and we talked more about stuff. he said that there isn't anything more he can tell me that I don't already know. That's kind of a good thing.... It means that I know an assload of stuff! However it means that I'm on my own from here, eep! Really, writing this paper will depend on my finding enough info to fill out a twenty page paper...
