Look at me go!

...

Okay, maybe I shoudl not be so enthusiastic. I slept in until ten... no regrets there. I was needing extra sleep.

Then I got up and checked the internet, and faffed around doing pointless things until almost 12, when I decided i wanted pancakes. So, I did the dishes (a good ting), and made and ate pancakes. I also made hot chocolate, which makes about a cup and a half of almod-y chocolate goodness (from [livejournal.com profile] pteryx). It only fills up my new mug about 2/3 of the way :o

Anyway, while I've been doing this, I've been considering various things. Like the BPAL story, the Werewolf story that I have on my brain (I know soo much about these peopes lives now, so I just need to pick one part of it to tell), and what I want to do with my character for Rob's new game, since he wants the stuff for it soo.

I *haven't* been thinking about my essay at all. I got a few paragraphs hashed out last night.... It would be a decent introduction, if only I had a thesis. >_< The problem is that I really don't know! The question we are supposed to reflect on is about the degree to American history in the English new world was more influenced by the society of origin or by the result of new devlopments in the new environment(s). I am just not really sure what I think about it still, which is maybe a little silly, since we have been talking about it for the past four weeks... *sigh*

...buh!

Jennifer and I flew ti Montreal yesterdaaaaay; she's taking a stained glass course today & tomorrow - paint on glass, then fire it in a kiln to grt special effects. We're at a B&B in the old city, rue St. Paul. I walked around for three hours on ols streets - Maisonneuve, St Catherines, University. The building we,re in is just north of the old port, & supposedly sailors, pirates stayed here... ( la maison des patriotes)...

Can. access my e^mail, so thought I'd send this,

Regarding your essay... with open-ended questions that are somewhat subject to interpretation, like that one, I know sometimes it's easier to work backwards. List all the concrete points that you can and their respective validity and then look at the great grand mass of it all and figure out what the sum means.

I can't think of anything constructive to say (and it's probably too late anyway)... but I'm glad you're enjoying my hot chocolate, at least. :) -- Pteryx
