Ahhhhhhhh!

Okay, now that that's over, I'll go into details.

I'm encountering administrative glitches. The first is simple. It turns out I didn't fill in a form I was supposed to give Karen at the beginning of the year. that's okay. I can get her everything she needs today, when I go back to campus. As an aside, I hadn't planned on coming home today, but there you have it. I need to take care of this crap as much as I can, which is best done from here. The second glitch is more problematic, and it actually lead to the discovery of the first (I'm ordering these in order of severity as opposed to the linear time frame in which I encountered them ;p). It is more complicated because I am goign to need my social security card. And I still can't find it. I gave my number to the payroll people, but because they now have me registered under that number, and all my other school records are under another number (which no one told me I was going to need to update, I'll note), there is some bureaucratic miscomunication that is only being staved off by the fact that I know the departmental secretary, bless her heart. But I need to take them a copy of my card to fix it/prove who I am :( So, I can't get it sorted out, not really, until I have my new card... boo :( I think there is a place in town I can go to get a new one but a: I don't lnow where it is and b: I will have to ask for a drive... So I need to work around three different schedules: mine, the office's, and whoever (if anyone) I can get to drive me. I also need forms (for my own use). Note to self: that will also give me the address of the place to go.

Now, I can go and download that, and also some other stuff I need... like my heath insurace claim forms, and my homework for my methods class (woo-hoo site forms), before I go to the history games at 2. Yes.

I also need to pick up my taxx forms, if I can figure out what/where they are. I suspect that I will have to pay taxes to the Canadian government to cover my assistantship... well, maybe not for this year, sinc I have all that time working at Lisa's. However, I bet I will for next year. I also hope that Lisa has my address to send me tax stuff. I did send it to frankie, so here's hoping! I also need to make sure that I am getting all the forms I need from the school for my Canadian taxes so I don't have any more fuck-ups like I did in Sheffield. I don't want to get audited *again* -_- The other thing I need is my tax forms from Canada. I have no idea where they will show up, or even if they will be the right ones. If they go to charlotte st, Jodie (or Cat), can you forward them for me, please? I can make it worth your while ;)

I totally don't want to deal with any of this crap right now ;_; I have to read a book (a *long* book), and mark exams :( And I still need to order stuff from ILL. Which I am goign to do *right now*. Look at me go! Eeeek! Oh, yes, and I am going to order a copy of Daniel Finamore's thesis for future reference....
