Rogan actually lives in a village just outside of York, called Poppleton. Which makes me think of a town inhabited by Popples... You know, those stuffed toys from the eighties that you turned inside out into little round pillows or whatever. Popples. You know you know what I mean ;)

I told him I am making a checklist for Mary. Can cook... check. Nice parents... check. Knows how to iron... check ;)

I am going to go into town in a bit to wander for a while and find out conference details, when he goes in to work around 2 or 2:30 (my brain is a little addled from a cold that seems to have blossomed in my head, boo). There is a meet and greet at 8, too. Apart from that, I have no real plans for the day :o

Tomorrow the actual sessions start. I am definitely going to on in the morning, and maybe something in the afternoon, depending on what there is. In the evening, I think we are going to go see a film. Merchant of Venice for real this time! I've been told House of Flying Daggers was kind of dissapointing. It was pretty, and had good fights, but there was no real story or character development. And, no Jeremy Irons ;) After that, Perseity! Though I won't be staying for the whole thing. Now, I have to go pee. Aren't you glad to know? :)
