Venice is awesome!
Hazel is making a huuge v. descriptive update though, but she won't let me see. This keyboard is kind of confusing, so it should provide you all with different, exciting kinds of typos ;p Anyway, I will let you get most of teh lowdown from her. I will say, however, that today, we wandered around Murano, and I spent waaaay too much money on a cup. Okay, so it is a fancy Venitian glass wine glass, and it is *awesome*. We looked in about a million glass shops before I found one I was willing to plonk down the cash for. AAnd really, it only cost me half of the price of last night's dinner. I can't really describe it. Once I get home, I wil take it out and take a picture for you all, since I'm sure you are all curious to see what a 100€ glass looks like ^-^ It is very light, and I have the artisan's card and such. I admit, I did go into quite a few shops, but Hazel wanted to go in *some* of them. The glass is not ugly, I promise ^-^ There was a lt of really tacky stuff, but I avoided it. No, thanks, I donàty need to spend 605 on some hand-blown glass grapes :P
We went to the Dalì exhibit here yesterday, and it was really awesome. I never knew that Dalì made a hologaph of Alice Coper, but now I do! He was a strange, awsome man. I didnàt buy a print though. Just like I didnàt buy a giant reprint of an 18th(I think) century map of Venice.
I have got about 20 min left here. I finally managed to printout the forms I need to fill out to try and get money back fom the school for SHA, but I suspect it will get there too late. *Shrug* I hadn't expected to be able to get anything from them really. And that reminds me, I must e-mail ogan with the itinerary.
Ever since I got here, I feel like I am on a boat. Maybe it is jst because I have spent so much time *on* boats... They have water-buses here, and boy, have we ever spent a lot of time on them :p We accidenally took the *long* way back from Murano. Anyway, I feel like I am on a gently rolling body of water. It is a little disconcerting. In other news, I really, really eally have to pee ;_; I think we are going to try and find some place to eat when we are done here, maybe... I sure hope it has a bathroom! or that we can at least find someplace that does.
And now that I have shared tyhat much with you, I think I'll finish this off! And for those of you who wan to know more about the trip, check out
longpig's journal :)
Now, I've got 15 min to read comics. whee!
And, oh yes, about 4 more hours until we have to even be at the train station -_-

The boat sensation is good, right? It'll help you get your sea legs before becoming a pirate! :D
Ah, well, guess I putzed up on the Christmas card to both of you. It is probably still in transit to the U.K. as we speak...
