The mail guy was here when I left. I gave him a letter to deliver, even. And yet, I still missed him delivering a package >:|
This is starting to get really annoying. I blame Canada post.
The other thing that is really annoying is that my VISA isn't here yet, and I *know* jodie sent it... sent it superfastamail, even! where is my VISA? who took my VISA? P.S. i will find my VISA. >:| or I'd better, anyway. I assume the package is from Bronwen, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow :p The upswing of that will be that i get to unwrap all the presents! even the ones that aren't foe me ^-^ that's beause I can't carry them through customs, though. it doesn't mean I get to keep them ^-^. And I add the Hazel ones to the growing stash...
I also have to go to my bank tomorrow and see if they have a copy of my social security card, so that I can send that to the school. I need ot go to Social Security too, really, to get my card replaced, but I'm not sure I'll get to that before I leave.
In completely unrelated news... There is maybe a person who has slightly piqued my interest. He's a professor, but not one of *my* professors. I've talked to him a few times, though never about anything serious. He seems nice, and such. Whenever I run into him, I find myself thinking 'hmmm...." and wondering if he has actually noticed me, or if that's just in my head. I wouldn't say that he goes out of his way to talk to me or anything, but anytime I *do* see him, we chat briefly. He's young (relatively, anyway, but I'm terrible at judging these things), and fairly new... He isn't on the department website (I was thinking of giving you a picture, but you're out of luck ;) It isn't like I'm interested in pursuing anything atm; I just ran into him today when I was doing readings at the department office, and thought I'd mention it :)

Frog, Visa, same difference. :) Unwrapping other people's presents can be quite fun, yeah. :)
