Played PHD last night and it was awesome! i think Lysva is prettty fun, considering that a: I'm only playing her short term and b: I didn't pick her class or anything :) I secretly suspect that Julie was just fed up with me playing all these 'not quite' bard characters, who had bardic interests and skills, but weren't actually bards themselves ;) Also.... It seems like the arch was never on the black down at all, unless that's where *we* move it to... so what does this mean for future Diablotin? :o Did someone move it back? oooOOOOooooo.... Anyway, it will be keen. Hooray for Legend Lord! ;) hooray for being a 15th level bard so that I can raise an area of 150ft square 30 feet! That's pretty crazy,. as anyone who has even lived in a floodzone will know, water is a damned destructive force. I just have to raise it... and then let it go! Madness. Actually, I should probably read the spell myself just to make sure it *will* do what I think ti will ;)

Anyway. It was fun. However, we're getting in to Novemner.... and all my big papers are due at the end of this month, or a bare week into December. this means that I don't really think I can justify *increasing* my gaming for a whole other day/night per week. So I am going to back out of Sunday Perseity for the next few weeks, since, especially if I am walking up to the lab (which is a 40 min-an hour return trip depending on how fast I walk ;), it is the day of gaming that most kills my productivity. I find it a lot harder to try and concentrate in the evening after I have been gaming all afternoon.

In addition to that, I am going over to Katie's house this Friday night to hang out and watch sci-fi stuff, and I won't be getting home until sometime on Saturday, which, again, is going to cut into my time. It is going to be fun, and also, it is important to not just hide in my house all the time and have gaming as my only social outlet ;p But it means that I really should reclaim my Sunday to work this week (at least). Whether or not I can resist the temptation to come in and watch for a bit.... that's a different matter ;p

In other news, Kristen, who took me out to get my chair and bookshelves, etc, wants to go to a bellydance class! This is awesome! The only problem is.... I think they are on Monday nights, usually. They won't be starting up again soon, because I thik the instructor is in Morocco, or was last month. I will send her an e-mail and find out. I think that she has classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Mondays are her beginners. They start fairly early n the evening... I',m not sure what to do. I have a class on Wednesdays next term, so that probably won't be an option... I really want to do Dance again, but I don't want to mess up game, damnit! I *think* they run from, like 5:30 to 7, and I would have a drive, which wouldn't be too bad. I'll let people know, and then I'll decide if I can actually do it or not.

Why is everything always scheduled for the name nights, anyway? :p Nothing ever happens on *Tuesday*!
