For the past two night, there have been insanely large parties going on around here. The kind that keep me from going right to sleep at night, and where there is a wash of beer cans and cups littered across the courtyard/lawn when I get up. Probably, things will start to pick up again later on tonight. but for now, it is (fairly( quiet. And *warm*. I've actually been hot all day, just wearing a long sleeve shirt. And when I went out to take out the trash, I was sure that it couldn't be *november* tomorrow. Maybe late September, at the most. It was very warm!

The other thing I see is a complete lack of costumes! I am almost afraid that when I go to the party tonight that I will be the only one dressed up :o Only, I know that isn't true. It is definitely a costume party. But, still. I hope my costume actually is as cute and clever as I think it is. I hope it will actually be *fun*. hrm.

I should eat and then try to write my book review, while I am waiting for Stephanie and Sami to call back...
