who am I?

For the maritime program's newsletter...

Heather Hatch is originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada (eh?). She has a BA in anthropology from the University of New Brunswick, and an MA in European Historical Archaeology from the University of Sheffield in England. She is interested in examining piracy in the early eighteenth century through a combined archaeological and historical approch, as well as piracy in other periods and other aspects of eighteenth century maritime life. Non-academic interests include middle eastern dance, creative writing, medieval re-enactment, and pillaging.

Now, I will go shower, and hopefully that will re-envigorate me enough to slog through some moe of Citizens of the World. It isn't a bad book, but it is a *long* one... 400 pages! Eep!

Maybe it's just in case anyone gets confused with the New Brunswick in Guatemala. Do you get to do much pillaging in the Carolinas, or are you waiting for the US electrical grid to fall over before you start looting the place?

There is a New Brunswick in New Jersey....

And I haven't gotten to do much pillaging, yet, but I'm keeping an eye out for good opportunities. I hear Hallowe'en Saturdays downtown can be a little crazy :D

...Yoink!

Whoever put in the "(eh?)" should be slapped with a wet fish.
