Today, I finally went over and used the little gym at TRE :) It is litterally right across the street from me, and my only real excuse for not doing so earlier was that I had no gym clothes. Well now I do! I am hoping that if I am more active, it will help me fight this cold, as well as helping me build up my endurance some more.

They have a treadmill, an elliptical machine, and some other aerobics thingy that I didn't pay attention to and don't remember exactly. They also have one of those 'home gym' type of systems, which has a million different applications. Today, I just used the elliptical, since batman was on. Hooray cartoons! I sort of poked and prodded at the home gym thing, but I haven't quite figured it all out yet, and I didn't want to hurt myself. Anyway, it was good! I just did 30 min (including 5 min warm up and cool down), because it has been a while and I am still trying to figure out the specifics of this machine. After Batman (NAMTAB!), I watched part of a random western, since the next cartoon in the line up was Yugi-oh (bleah).

Now, I am trying to decide of I should clean up around here a bit, or read. I think I will read, and go through my General History and mark stuff for my papers. I can clean and tidy during Perseity tomorrow, which should be awesome :) The other things I should do is see if I can find someone to take me grocery shopping, since my cupboards and fridge are startlingly bare and empty. I am going to call Michelle... Maybe I should do *that* now, hmmm...

...there is somethign very 80's about talking about going to the gym and listening to Pat Benetar. Where are my leg warmers? Break out the Olivia Newton John! Let's Get Physical!

I always thought warm ups and cool down times were recommended as somewhat longer.

Probably. The chart on the wall said 5 each for a 15 min workout, so I thought it would be fine. I *felt* fine... Now I feel like Poop :p

Eh, at the time your system is loaded with endorphins, adrenaline... feeling fine is really not reliable.
