I have decided that I do want to be a superhero for Hallowe'en. I am thinking that maybe I could be "The Great White North".

I have the material to make a (slightly-off) white cloak. Now, what should I do for the rest of my costume? What style should I be going for here? Blue and white 'ice' theme? Red and white 'Canada' theme? How skimpy should I go? Maybe I will make myself a little bag that I can line with plastic, and carry ice cubes to throw at people. Or put in their drinks. Heh.

..I need some white tights!

I recommmend a red & white theme that is not that skimpy (because it is cold in the north). You definitely need to wear a toque though!

Yeah, red and white are snazzy. Plus you look better in red than blue.

I was thinking tights, but maybe I will see if I can find some longjohns and a thermals shirt, in white, and then little red shorts over top, and a red maple leaf on my chest. I don't have a red tuque though. And the cloak, yes or no?

All good superheroes need capes! Maybe if possible with a maple leaf on it.

They really need to let you have a mapple leaf in CoH. You can have a fleur de lis so they might as well let us have a mapple leaf.

They should! E-mail the admin :)

Also, did you see my story? I mostly ask because I am pretty sure I am going to wind up stealing matt cash for a bit. Although I forgot that 'Cash' wasn't his real last name until I just checked my old notes, so I have to ammend that.

Red lined with white (or vice versa) would rock out. Is there *nowhere* to get a toque?

Of course, another line of reasoning would mean that she should be wearing skimpy clothes, since it is so warm in NC compared to her frosty homeland! ^-^

You'll have to remember to say "eh" and "aboot" a lot. Oh, wait....

:p

*chuckles at the ice cube thing* Admittedly, not sure how long you'll be able to carry it without it all melting... but then you'll have icewater handy! :)

If you happen to have a stuffed beaver you should make it a cape and call it your trusty sidekick.

That would be *awesome*! Maybe if I see any cheap beavers at the mall. Of course, then I will be the butt of many beaver related jokes for the rest of the term, I'm sure. probably along the lines of 'Canadian girls really like their beaver', etc. Hee!
