My original Christmas plans were to go to Wales as soon as break ended, add then come back on January 4th.

However... The annual conference for The Society for Historical Archaeology happens to be in York, starting on Jan 5th... so, if I can find a place to stay in York, or depending on train rates and such, even in Sheffield, well, then why the hell *not* stay! :o It will be a very exciting thing to do! *And* it keeps me in the UK longer! *And* I may be able to get some kind of airline discount! Superswank!

...now I will go nap, just for a bit. I am supposed to finish the Thing and do something (?) with Julie online later(?) but as you can see, the plans are a little ambiguous.

Great. I can prolly borrow the car if you need/would like to be ferried to Sheffield. It saves rail fare if nothing else.

Sure, it's pretty big... But you'll have to come down to
Greenville, 'cause I'm not going to go pick you up ^-^

If you have any things yuou'd like brought over though, you can ship them over here (cheaper, and faster, I'd imagine, then mailing across the ocean), and I can pass them along :)
