Maybe a little too awesome

I don't want to go sit in on the historiography class. I don't want to work on my presentation this afternoon. I want my life to be full of fun and exciting things, not en-meh-ening necessary ones. I would like to have an exciting new story, or an exciting part of a continuing one to distract me. I have been feeling the need to *be* creative lately, either in writing or in some other medium (I do have all the parts for that skirt.... and realize that I have nowhere to wear it if I make it :( ). I started writing something last night that I may or may not continue... It depends on if I can get it done in a timely manner and if I still feel inspired by it when I get a chance to go back to it. Maybe I should focus my energies on something that would appeal to a wider audience anyway. Or not.

Tonight, I am going grocery shopping with Michelle. This afternon, I guess I will go home and figure out what sorts of things I want to scan for the picture part of my powerpoint presentation, and then go up to Eller this evening and work on scanning. So if anyone is around, well, I'm just going to be scanning....

Beh. I feel like I have all this energy and I am just inevitably going to be thwarted in trying to do anything with it.

Well, if I say and it doesn't get finished in a timely way, I don't wan't anyone in my, ah, limited audience to be disapointed. I think I will set a certain amount of time for me to work on it each day, as a break from other things. Considering how much I got done yesterday... Well, we'll see, I guess.

As for my skirt, I orobably *coulkd* wear it anywhere, but it would be awfully fancy. It will be all silk. I am going to used a strip of crimson silk velvet to attach the fire-y streamers too, I think. I have no idea where that velvet came from, mind, but I'm not complaining! Maybe I would have enough to make a top for it too... But it is hard to work on sewing stuff for only an hour or so a day without losing track of where I am and taking up all of my table space. I could probably get through more of it in an afternoon, if I had an afternoon. Bah!

I am hoping that it will take me a lot less time to finish this presentation than I have alloted, so that I can have a little more breathing space.

Right now, though, I have to go to that class... :p

Thanks for *huggles* though. I will take them and hope that this is just a passing mood.

Okay, well, I won't pry - but I am curious now if I'm part of your "limited audience" ;)

Good luck on your work for your presentation! I do hope that this is just a passing mood, and you are back to HappyHeather soon :)

And if you wanted distracting tonight, I might be able to come online for a while (need to work on game website anyway ;) - just let me know what time!

Well, you are, but in order to retain *some* aura of mystery, I will have to point out that pretty much any setting/genre/whatever I might be writing (about), chances are that you also have some measure of investment in it as well.

I think I will go take a nap, and maybe that will cheer me up some.

I did not sleep, but rested a little, and also got a present, which went a long way in cheering me up, and my phone bill, which did not. My longdistance charges were only ~20$, but with everything else I'm still paying 95$! I have to see if there is a better way.

Now I will work on my project. I don't know about when I will be around tonight for *sure*, because I am gong to get groceries at some point and I don't know how long that will take. Maybe around 8, though, I'll be going up to the lab. I can let you know more details as I figure them out.

Your package arrived today. Thank you :) It was, indeed, too large for my slot ^-^ I will out the bubbles to good use, probably tomorrow. Sharpe's Trafalgar I will read later for my Sea Power class, assuming it is okay'd by Dr. D.

Other than that, I am disturbed by the pictured your *father* included. Yeek!
