Last night I found a cockroach in my kitchen. I cut off its head while I was trying to trap it in a juice bottle. Thismorning, the 'corpse' was still twitching and trying to escape. Roaches are neat, well built little creatures, I just don't want them in my house! There is something innately creepy about their serrated legs. I shoudl report this to the building managers. (The presence, not the creepyness, of roaches.) I saw one the other day, in my living room, but it was the middle of the day, and my downstairs door (which never closes right) was open, so I traped it in a ziplock bag, threw it in the trash to die (or not?) and thought nothing else of it.

We have quarterly preventative exterminations here. They were just around maybe two weeks ago! Bah!

In other news.... Someone sent me a package! Hurray! I am excited and grateful! However, I have no idea who or what, because it is the kind of package that needs to be *signed* for. Since I am never home fopr mail delivery, I only have a little card telling me that I can pick up my parcel at the post office tomorrow. Except I don't know where it is and don't really have the time to go and wander around to find it, and then walk home. Beh. Please, if you are thoughtful and generous enough to send me something, and it is within your control, don't make it somethign that I have to sign for...

Now I go write about the Armada. I will be on a roll with this thing as soon as I can figure out the best way to structure it. Meh.
