Last night, as I was taking out the garbage, I slipped on the curb by the dumpster and twisted my left pinky (possibly sprained it, I dunno how you determine these things) and skinned the top layer of skin of my right knee. I didn't tear my pants at least, which is good because I really like them and I don't have enough pairs as it is. My hand is possibly mre sore this morning, but not enough to really stop me from doing anything. It is just kind of annoying. My knee is still all weepy, constantly seeping lymph. I am hoping it will hurry up and dry out so I don't have to worry about it sticking to my clothes.

Reading classics and gaming a lot has put strange things in my head. I woke up this morning with half a speech in my head that could be used if my character in Julie's game should he ever find himself actually involved in the brewing civil war against Blackhope. He is just a count, so I don't know that he would actually be put in charge of anything, but he is also very charismatic and a close friend of the empress. It was a decent speech anyway, I thought. "Men and women, soldiers of Diablotin.... blah blah, we fight for the empire, for our beliefs, for our citizens, for our homes and families. Our enemy is not a merciful one, blah blah, we must show courage - it is more than our lives we must defend. Etc." There was more to it, but I have to go get dressed ^-^
